The Perfect Weekend In NYC!

Rockefeller at Christmas

Rockefeller at Christmas

Ever wanted to know the what to do in New York City?  There is so much to do and it can be really daunting!  At least I think so!   I have been to New York with my girlfriends a handful of times.  It really is my favorite place to visit.  I just never get over the excitement of going there…every time it feels like my first visit all over again!

Each time I go I want to experience something different (guess that is why it always feels like my first time there every time!!).  So I asked my good friend Alice who has been to New York many more times than me (jealous!!).  I asked her what her perfect weekend in NYC would look like?  I want to share it with you all because it is brilliant!  My girlfriends and I followed her guide and had an amazing time!!

Walk The High Line

Walk the HighLine. Absolute MUST.

You can even start (or end) it off with a lobster roll from the Chelsea market.

Stop in at at i-plaza for a foot and back massage. Super cheap and super good!

Walk the Brooklyn Bridge.

(December) Walk Central Park. See the big Christmas Tree at Rockefeller. Go to the top of 30 Rock if you want to go up high to see NYC. Otherwise skip it. Don’t attempt the Empire State unless you are willing to pay over $100 to fast track through the lines.

Shopping in NYC:

These first two stores are just a couple of blocks from each other near Spring and Broadway

MOMA store (not museum)

Kiosk
Amazing store with the funniest write ups on each product. Almost like a museum. Check out this website for a taste of what it’s like.

Century 21
