You can’t imagine Orlando without kids but when my husband went on business mid-February there was no way I was not coming along to escape the cold – even if it was the home of ‘a small world after all’. So I started researching and found the Waldorf Astoria Orlando – yes the same owners as the Waldorf New York set up a property in Orlando. It is fantastic. The rooms are a top notch beyond anything else you will find in Florida, the service was so outstanding you could be New York city (Miguel at the front desk treated me like a rock star so you gotta love it!) It has a great pool and poolside service (find Jason and you won’t regret it except for the number of drinks you consume as he is always at your side, for me it was bottomless Mimosas).
Blog 2 for me and starting to get the hang of this. Ok so don’t worry I will not start each blog this way but the plan is to file each blog by city so if you ever want to read about a location for a vacation you can find great travel ideas by looking under the city or country. My whole goal is to give you suggestions for great places to stay that are clean, contemporary and in a decent price range. With that, you will find that I really like Florida as a travel destination. Since I am a little long winded and have so much to say I am going to break this blog into two parts – this week will be ‘Orlando Disney Holidays with kids’ and next week will be ‘Orlando Disney Holidays without kids’.
I love traveling, so choosing a theme for this blog was particularly hard for me. I have been to so many fabulous places, and had so many cool adventures… But over-all I would have to say the place that makes my spirits soar, and my heart beat wildly when I see the city skyline…is New York City!
